Pc Gamepad Vista

Im running Assassins Creed Pc with an Ati Radeon 3100, but it looks choppy and with a slow gameplay?

My PC specs are, Windows Vista Home 64, Processor is an Amd Athlon 7750 Dual Core (2.8 Ghz), and 4 GB of Ram, but the games still looks choopy even on a lower definition (800 x 600 pixels), and a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad.
But even with these specs the game plays slow

hmmmm. odd. it should be fine.

my specs are: radeon x1950 pro agp, 2.5 gb ram, two amd opteron dual core cpus. (on xp, though)

i run mine on (i’m guessing) 1440×900. my normal screen resolution.

i also turn off ALL eye candy and non-essential programs.
