How do i use my xbox 360 controller to play on my halo pc game.?

i just got halo pc and controll are confusing i wanna set up my controller for my xbox 360 hooked up for my pc but i wanna use it for my halo game any1 wanna help?
my controoler works with my pc i just wanna know how to use for halo pc.

If it’s a wired controller, plugging it in to your pc should work. If it’s a wireless controller, it won’t work on your pc as Microsoft is using their own proprietary wireless.
