2001 Jaguar S Type transmission problems?

I am currently deployed in Iraq and my girlfriend has problems with its transmission. RPMs or until quite high and does not change smothly respectively. Most vehicles recommend transmission service between 80K and 100K, depending on driving conditions. There is a product called Lucas Transmission additive is about 10 dollars. Add to the transport of fluids in your car and take it to disk. With in 15 minutes, trip will be better. Another thing I think a lot is the overdrive when driving in the city, at 50 mph.
