Nintendo Zapper?

Oringal I bought came with the Nintendo Zapper Gun. How to use the Duck Hunt / Super Mario games. I am using controller to start the game and re-arms? Please explain!

You can connect a pistol before turning the game. Use of weapons in the Start menu, choose Duck Hunt (I'm sure you just point and shoot Duck Hunt to select). If this fails, try connecting controller to port 1 and port 2 weapons Use the joystick to select the game, and then use the weapons in the game. If this does not always turn the driver of the gun and try to again.
